QUITPOWER®

Our QuitPower Advanced Tobacco Cessation program helps individuals realize important health benefits by quitting smoking for good.

OptumHealth's QuitPower® program offers an effective approach to help people quit using tobacco.

In fact, 38.8% of all QuitPower participants quit by their final coaching call. More impressively, 65% of all participants that completed the program were tobacco free at final coaching call.1

QuitPower is an intensive tobacco cessation program designed to achieve higher quit rates than standard approaches. Actually, QuitPower participants saw a better than 15% increase in quit rates while program completers achieved nearly a 25% greater quit rate over our standard tobacco cessation program.1

The QuitPower program is customized to each member’s unique needs and readiness to change. It includes up to 8 scheduled one-to-one coaching calls with a certified tobacco cessation specialist, combined with home delivered nicotine replacement therapy products to optimize success rates. OptumHealth’s multi-method risk identification uses online health assessments, onsite biometric screenings, claims analysis, employee self-identification, and clinical referrals to identify counseling candidates.
