OptumHealth Launches New Trade Advertising Campaign
OptumHealth is running trade print and digital ads directed to the employer and consultant markets through February 2012.
The trade ads feature the OptumHealth Total Population Solution branded HelpCareTM. Each of the print ads features an employee and illustrates the cost savings that the HelpCareTM solution can bring to employers if it were a part of their company’s health care offerings.
In addition to the print ads there are accompanying digital ads and dedicated employer and consultant website landing page, utilizing the same creative, on www.Optum.com where employers or consultants can visit and provide contact information to receive a follow-up call from an Optum sales professional
Print ads are appearing in HR Magazine and Employee Benefit Advisor. Digital ads appear on SHRM online, Employee Benefits Advisor online, Consulting Magazine, and SmartBriefs.
Our goal is to provide employers and consultants with a compelling offer that is unique in the marketplace and will provide them with the information and tools they need to better serve their clients and their client’s total population.
What is OptumHealth’s HelpCare Total Population Solution (TPS)?
HelpCare TPS is an evolution of the “GreenPrint” total population management solution that was introduced in early 2011. HelpCare TPS is a full continuum health and wellness solution that focuses on increasing employers’ overall return on investment by flexing health management resources to target and engage individuals with high value health improvement opportunities.
HelpCare TPS takes a fresh approach to consumer engagement by recognizing that individuals engage best in health management services that are simple, convenient, and relevant to their everyday needs.
Unlike traditional health management models that focus primarily on telephonic outreach as a means of activation, HelpCare TPS shifts the focus to encouraging consumers to initiate interactions with OptumHealth resources on an inbound basis through consumer activation tactics that are both personalized to the individual consumer and to the culture of the employer. The consumer activation tactics keep consumers’ gaps in care top of mind while also providing a call to action for the consumers to engage with us via multiple modalities such as telephone, online health and wellness experience, mobile application or text messaging, and onsite at the workplace.
The result, compared to more traditional health and wellness models, is an exponential increase in engagement and consumer satisfaction, as well as a demonstrable impact on health care spend, transparency, and value.
With the HelpCare Total Population Solution, the employer benefits from:
HelpCare solutions are focused on the individual – not the condition.
- Focused consumer activation tools and culture of health for their population
- Better outcomes and cost savings through flexible, full continuum health management
- Proprietary tools and reporting that demonstrate real-time value and transparency
HelpCare encourages healthy lifestyle changes, proactively seeks to help members become healthy and addresses those that need the most help. HelpCare is an innovative solution that will save everyone money.
- With the HelpCare Advisor component, employees are reached at the point of decision and helped to make informed choices regarding their health care needs.
- The HelpCare Wellness component provides lifestyle modification techniques and tips that positively impact health behaviors.
