Cancer Resource Services (CRS) identifies, credentials and contracts with cancer Centers of Excellence programs nationwide. For uncommon and complex cancers, obtaining care from a Center of Excellence facility may be the best option, even if it is far from home. The CRS network is intended to complement local hospital and physician networks.

The CRS network is currently comprised of more than 20 cancer Centers of Excellence programs across the country. Each center has met our evaluation criteria based on eight critical features:

- Program depth and breadth
- Best-practice medicine
- Patient- and family-oriented programs and services
- Patient volumes
- Treatment planning and coordination
- Clinical research

CRS clinical consultants assist patients, family members, community physicians, case managers and medical directors in making informed decisions when choosing cancer care providers through:
