As senior vice president of payer solutions for OptumHealth, Adam Hameed oversees sales and account management activities for the payer market. Under his direction, Hameed’s team provides solutions to payers that optimize the health and well-being of individuals through integrated, personally relevant health guidance, technology and services.    

Hameed has extensive experience in the payer market. He spent several years successfully leading Ingenix’s sales and account management functions for its payer markets. Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group in 2004, he held many sales, marketing and business development positions with several leading consulting and software companies including Fair Isaac, Accenture, Deloitte Consulting and Unisys. Hameed also helped build a national Customer Relationship Management consulting and systems integration company.

Hameed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and general management both from the University of Michigan.
